Description

Cyber Dose puts the player in the place of an AI databot located in the central node of a newly created neural network within the HeXR Cloud System.

Your role is to analyse and gather data on digital twins of illicit substance samples beamed in by AI health bots positioned on Earth.

You will gain knowledge about each sample’s molecular structure, manufacture and usage effects. This data must then be packaged and beamed back within a limited time frame to assist and educate humans about what the makeup of substances are before they consume them.

Continue to collect data and learn in order to expand the neural network and increase the speed of data package delivery.

Be sure to stay BOOSTED while completing tasks or you run the risk of crashing and entering bot rehab,  and still while human drug related harm around the world continues to increase.

If too many countries reach extreme harm levels, you will be summoned by the Bot Integrity Unit, or even worse, deregistered and shut down…

History

Cyber Dose started as a serious game for exploring the history, use and abuse of illicit drugs with scientific and factual information which would be possibly usable in an academic environment.
It was the idea that it could be a complementary form of research that uses the interactive and engagement powers of mixed reality to obtain and even “experience” the information in order to ingest and retain it more easily.

The project is now, first and foremost, a game. Not so serious, and aimed at a wider bunch of players, and hopefully more entertaining. However, it’s still a game where, in the background, some real world knowledge and data related to drug issues in society can be gained from playing it.

Cyber Dose was always meant to be a mixed reality (VR/AR) experience, so it could be played in either a virtual or augmented real world player space.
Right now, we’re focusing on VR and Quest 2 and looking to combine passthrough and other features as the mixed reality capabilities of the device further develop.
Other VR/AR/MR versions will come to other new and existing hardware if the demand exists.
